UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City girls basketball team defeated Winchester 55-52 in Friday’s semifinal action in the Randolph County Tournament.
Justiss Cantu led the Indians with 16 points and seven assists, while Ellie Kerns came off the bench to add 14 points.
Courtney Wise tossed in 10 points to go with eight rebounds. Baylee Hartman also pulled down 8 rebounds.
Kira Robinson led the Golden Falcons with 20 points as teammate Maggie Lawrence finished with 14 points. Shelby Miller contributed nine points.
The Indians (15-2) advance to the championship game on Saturday against Monroe Central at 6 p.m.
