UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City girls basketball season came to an end on Friday night as the Indians fell to Randolph Southern 69-50 in the semifinal of the Class 1A Union City Sectional.
Kahlee Dowler topped the Indians with 17 points and five rebounds.
Ellie Kerns tossed in 11 points.
Justiss Cantu finished with eight points.
The Indians finish at 9-14.
Union City fell behind 15-4 after the first quarter and then 29-14 at halftime. Randolph Southern led 51-31 after three periods.
The Rebels (18-6) face Tri High (20-4) in Saturday’s championship game at 7:30 p.m.
