LIBERTY, Ind. – The Union County boys basketball team had three players in double figures on Tuesday night as the Patriots defeated Randolph Southern 73-15.
“We have spent the last few days drilling on our zone defenses and just being more alert,” Union County Head Coach Mark Detweiler said. “Combine that with good ball movement and shooting and we played a complete game.”
Logan Sanford led Union County with 20 points against the Rebels (1-15).
Dillon Miller tossed in 15 points for the Patriots and Nevada Lakes added 10. Mason Miller contributed nine points.
Union County won the JV contest 44-15.
The Patriots (12-7, 3-2) visits Class 2A Northeastern (14-3, 3-0) for a Tri-Eastern Conference game on Friday.
