LIBERTY, Ind. – The Union County boys tennis team dropped a tight 3-2 match with Knightstown on Tuesday.
Union County’s victories came in tiebreakers.
At No. 3 singles, Joey Weller outlasted Collin Ferree 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-0).
The No. 1 doubles team of Austin Bowling and Owen Miller got past Ethan Roberts and Chase Manc 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 1-0 (10-4).
The Patriots are at Franklin County next Wednesday, Aug. 31.
