OLDENBURG, Ind. – After scoring five times in the first inning on Thursday, the Union County softball team never looked back as the Patriots won 14-0 over Oldenburg.
Rachel Sparks picked up the win with two innings of work on the mound. Fayth Hill worked the other three innings as the duo gave up only one hit each to the Twisters.
Sparks and Tara Williams had two hits each for the Patriots, who have now won six straight.
Tanner Henry led Union County with three runs knocked in.
The Patriots (6-2) are at Hagerstown on Friday for a Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
