MIDDLETOWN, Ind. – The Union County boys basketball team had three players in double figures on Friday, but it wasn’t enough as the Patriots were on the wrong end of a 59-45 decision at Shenandoah.
Preston Scott, Logan Sanford and Dillon Miller each had 10 points for the Patriots against the Class 2A No. 4 Raiders (11-0).
The Patriots led 28-24 at halftime.
Union County scored the first five points in the third quarter to build a 33-24 advantage, but Shenandoah held the Patriots scoreless the rest of the period as the Raiders took the lead for good.
Next up for the Patriots (7-5) is a visit from Eastern Hancock on Saturday.
