CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Union County boys soccer team defeated Centerville for the first time on Tuesday as the Patriots were victorious 3-0.
After a scoreless first half, Justin Beasley had the first two goals for the Patriots in the second period with Cameron Sanford added the final tally.
Ricardo Leon recorded four saves for the Patriots.
Centerville goalkeeper Tyler Phenis finished with nine stops.
On Saturday, both teams return to action on the road. Union County (6-2) visits South Dearborn, while Centerville (1-4-2) travels to Jay County.
