UNION CITY, Ind. – With a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the Union City football team was able to get past county rival Winchester 12-6 on Friday night.
Cameron Vincent scored on touchdown runs in the final stanza as the Indians came back for the Tri-Eastern Conference victory.
Vincent led the Indians with 109 yards rushing on 20 carries.
Trevor Thompson completed 7-of-11 passes for Union City as he found Mason Good three times for 20 yards.
Winchester scored its touchdown in the third quarter as Cole Campbell hit Boo Enis with an 11-yard scoring pass. Enis also had another catch for seven yards.
Jordan Key led the Golden Falcons with 46 yards on the ground and Enis added 33.
Defensively, Josh Crawford had a fumble recovery for the Indians.
Joel Edwards had an interception for Winchester.
Both teams are at home next Friday with Union City (2-4, 1-3) entertaining Lincoln (1-5, 1-3), while Winchester (1-5, 1-4) gets a visit from Shenandoah (4-2).
