Union County’s Joey Weller
LIBERTY, Ind. – Joey Weller led Union County to a 7-0 victory over Lincoln on Tuesday night.
Offensively, Weller had three hits and drove in a run for the seventh-ranked Patriots.
On the mound, he held the Golden Eagles to a pair of hits with 13 strikeouts.
Zander Kottka added two hits and knocked in two runs.
Bryce Pennington and Evan Roettger had the hits for Lincoln.
Hunter Wilhite had four strikeouts in six innings of work for the Golden Eagles.
Union County (13-2) plays a doubleheader with Richmond at McBride Stadium on Thursday.
