Union County’s Joey Weller was named the Tri-Eastern Conference Player of the Year for baseball as the all-league team was announced on Sunday.
Weller helped the Patriots to the TEC and sectional titles. He was also the District H Player of the Year.
Zander Kottka, Nate Webb and Leighton Schulte were the other Patriots on the squad with Weller.
Hagerstown, Union City and Knightstown each had three players honored.
Cody Swimm, Trent Weiss, Cameron Purtha represented the Tigers.
Zach Bradbury, Trevor Spence and Gabe Loesch made it from the sectional champion Indians.
The Panthers selected were Tyler Burton, Kaunner Kleek and Owen Wiles.
Connor Bray and Colton Alexander made the list from Northeastern.
Tri High’s Josiah Jackson and Drew Mondrush were honored.
Jacob Lahey and Glenallen Anderson of Winchester earned a spot with the group.
Centerville’s Nolan Witte and Lincoln’s Cameron Gwin were also on the team.
