
Winchester’s Jordan Key
WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Winchester baseball team scored seven runs in the first inning on Thursday as the Golden Falcons went on to beat Muncie Burris 17-1 in five innings.
Austin Cline led Winchester with three hits and two RBI.
Jordan Key had two hits and knocked in three runs, while Tanner Steveson also had a pair of hits.
Lukas Mills also drove in two runs.
Jacob Lahey went the distance and limited the Owls to three hits with four strikeouts.
The Golden Falcons (6-10, 2-5) travel to Tri High on Saturday for a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
