WINCHESTER, Ind. – Maddie Lawrence led the seventh-ranked Winchester girls basketball team to a 56-45 win over Delta on Wednesday night.
Lawrence scored 22 points and had four rebounds in the contest.
Becca Chamberlin finished with 15 points as she nailed five 3-pointers.
Kira Robinson added eight points as she pulled down a team-high 14 rebounds.
Shelby Miller tossed in nine points with seven rebounds.
Winchester led 13-7 at the first stop and then 29-13 by halftime. The Golden Falcons increased their advantage to 44-26 by the end of the third.
The Golden Falcons (8-0) visit No. 5 Monroe Central (4-0) on Saturday.
