Winchester Boys Beat Bluffton

WINCHESTER, Ind. – With four players scoring in double digits on Saturday, the Winchester boys basketball team picked up its second straight win as the Falcons defeated Bluffton 50-38.

“It was big win for us tonight against a very good team,” Winchester Head Coach Matt Fine said. “We had great balance with four guys in double figures.”

Michael Georgi led the Falcons with 14 points and three steals against the Tigers (6-2).

Kiante Enis, Elias Gates and Arick Miller each finished with 10 points.

Enis grabbed six rebounds, while Miller added five rebounds and a pair of blocks.

Cullen Hall contributed six points and five rebounds.

The Falcons trailed 23-22 at halftime, but responded by taking the third quarter 20-5 as they built a 42-28 advantage to take control of the contest at the Winchester Fieldhouse.

Winchester (4-3) faces Randolph Southern in the Randolph County Tournament at Monroe Central on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
