RUSHVILLE, Ind. – The Winchester boys basketball team had its eight-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday as the Falcons fell 81-78 in double overtime to Rushville.
Rushville’s Jaret Sons hit a 3-pointer in the final moments of the second extra session to give the Lions (7-13) the win.
Kiante Enis led Winchester with 36 points and nine rebounds, while three others scored in double digits.
Arick Miller finished with 11 points and nine rebounds. Michael Georgi also added 11 points and he pulled down five rebounds.
Austin Lawrence tossed in 10 points and had five rebounds.
The Falcons (13-6) welcome Class 2A No. 3 Northeastern to the Winchester Fieldhouse on Friday for a Tri-Eastern Conference match-up.
