PARKER CITY, Ind. – The Winchester boys basketball team was in control on Saturday night in the championship game of the Randolph County Tournament until the final quarter.
Monroe Central’s big fourth period gave the Golden Bears the title as they posted a 52-47 win over Winchester.
Winchester led 39-30 after three quarters before the Golden Bears (5-7) outscored the Falcons 22-8 to reverse their fortunes.
Kiante Enis led Winchester with 25 points and had five rebounds and a pair of steals.
Elias Gates added seven points for the Falcons. Michael finished with five points.
The Falcons (5-4) entertain Tri-Eastern Conference foe Hagerstown on Friday, Jan. 15.
