MODOC, Ind. – The Winchester girls basketball team lost for the second time this season on Friday night to Monroe Central in the semifinals of the Randolph County Tournament.
Now 16-2, the sixth-ranked Golden Falcons fell 57-46 to No. 4 Monroe Central (16-0) at Union.
Maddie Lawrence and Becca Chamberlin led Winchester with 13 points each.
Shelby Miller tossed in six points, while Hannah and Sarah Graft both added five points.
Kira Robinson grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds as she finished with four points.
Lawrence and Miller had seven rebounds apiece.
