MODOC, Ind. – The Winchester boys basketball team fell 49-48 in overtime to Randolph Southern in the opener of the Randolph County Tournament on Wednesday night at Union.
Isaiah Jordan-Miller led the Golden Falcons with 16 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.
Boo Enis and Trey Graft each finished with a dozen points.
Payton Sparks tossed in six points and grabbed five rebounds.
Winchester led 12-5 after the first period and then 23-18 at the half.
The Rebels were on top 37-35 after three before the game was tied 45-45 at the end of regulation.
Randolph Southern’s Caleb Wissel scored the game-winner with four seconds remaining in the extra session.
The Golden Falcons (1-7) return to action next Friday at home against Tri-Eastern Conference foe Hagerstown.
