WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Winchester boys basketball team dropped a tight 44-42 contest to Yorktown on Tuesday night.
The Golden Falcons had an opportunity to tie or win the game with a score in the final moments, but they couldn’t convert on the possession.
With Yorktown leading 38-27 heading into the fourth quarter, the Golden Falcons were able to close the gap to 40-39 late in the affair before their comeback fell short.
Trey Graft led the Golden Falcons with 18 points and three steals.
Isaiah Jordan-Miller added 10 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
Boo Enis finished with nine points and six rebounds.
Lukas Mills tossed in three points and had five rebounds.
Payton Sparks had two points and eight rebounds.
Winchester (4-9, 2-2) entertains Tri High (5-6, 1-2) in a Tri-Eastern Conference match-up on Friday.
