PARKER CITY, Ind. – The Winchester boys basketball team fell 56-55 at Randolph County rival Monroe Central on Thursday night.
The Golden Falcons had four players in double figures led by Boo Enis and Isaiah Jordan-Miller, who both had 14 points.
Trey Graft finished with 12 points and Jordan Key added 10.
Payton Sparks had five points and grabbed a team-high four rebounds.
Leading 19-12 after the first quarter, Winchester held a 29-22 advantage by halftime.
However, in the third period Monroe Central put together a big quarter to go on top 46-38. Winchester had a chance at the end to send the game to an extra session, but the Golden Falcons couldn’t convert the opportunity.
Winchester (5-12, 3-3) visits Tri-Eastern Conference foe Lincoln (7-10, 1-3) on Friday, Feb. 9.
