Winchester’s Rhamey Fetters
UNION CITY, Ind. – Winchester finished third in the Dylan Williams Memorial Softball Tournament on Saturday.
The Golden Falcons defeated Union City 5-3 in the consolation contest.
Rhamey Fetters got the victory on the mound for the Falcons and added a hit, a walk and three stolen bases.
Brooklyn Hummel and Rikki Phenis both had two hits. Nyah Trausch, Kara Moser, and Halei Goforth all had one hit.
For the Indians, Jodi Carpenter had four hits, while Katie Reichard added three hits.
Opening Round
Winchester fell to Ansonia 15-1 in the first round.
Hummel hit a homer for the Golden Falcons.
Union City lost to eventual champion Mississianawa Valley 27-3.
Kahlee Dowler had a hits and drove in a run. Ellie Kerns and Mackenzie Green each had a hit.
