WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Winchester girls basketball team survived a slow start on Thursday as the Falcons came back to win 48-45 over Randolph Southern.
The Falcons trailed 12-4 after the first quarter before they answered in the second period to lead 21-16 by halftime in the Winchester Fieldhouse.
Mairah Roberts led Winchester with 18 points against the Rebels (10-9). She also had two steals.
Becca Neville celebrated Winchester’s Senior Night with a double-double as she scored 15 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.
The Falcons also win the JV affair with a 38-28 decision as Kira Robinson led the way with 10 points. Autumn Dixon and Hannah Graft tossed in eight points each.
Winchester (10-11) visits Cowan in the regular season finale for the Falcons on Saturday afternoon.
