LEWISVILLE, Ind. – The Winchester boys tennis team started it season on Thursday with a 4-1 win over Tri.
Winchester swept the singles action in the Tri-Eastern Conference affair as Aaron Wallace beat Clayton Becker 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1.
In the second position, Trey Graft outlasted Kyle Falck 5-7, 6-4, 7-5.
At No. 3, Mason Melton won 6-1, 6-0 over Isaiah Steele.
The Golden Falcons won at No. 2 doubles as Justin McAllister and Thadd Legear defeated Jarod Stevens and Adam Glaze 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Tri’s victory was at No. 1 doubles team as Mason Rottinghaus and Jimmy Jeffries defeated Michael Georgi and Drake Moody 7-5, 6-1.
Tri is at Waldon on Monday. Winchester is at Union City on Wednesday.
