PORTLAND, Ind. – Three wrestlers from the Tri-Eastern Conference kept their seasons alive on Saturday by finishing in the top four in their weight class at the Jay County Regional.
Kyle Ullom of Winchester (195) along with Union City’s Nick Wells (138) and Braxton Wright (182) all advance to next Saturday’s New Haven Semi-State, which is at the Allen County Fieldhouse in Ft. Wayne.
Ullom finished second, while Wells and Wright were both fourth.
Yorktown won the team title with Winchester in 11th and Union City in 13th out of 19 schools in the event.
