WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Winchester girls basketball team had four players in double figures on Saturday as the Golden Falcons defeated Bluffton 67-39.
Winchester grabbed an early 22-6 advantage at the end of first quarter. By halftime, the Golden Falcons led 31-13 before they raised the margin to 53-23 after three.
Maddie Lawrence led the way for Winchester with 17 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
Shelby Miller scored 15 points and had six rebounds. Kira Robinson finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Becca Chamberlin tossed in 11 points to go with six rebounds. Hannah Graft contributed six points, five steals and four rebounds. Sarah Graft had five rebounds.
The Golden Falcons (1-0) travel to Yorktown on Tuesday.
