UNION CITY, Ind. – The Winchester boys basketball team had five players in double figures on Friday as the Golden Falcons beat Union City 78-51 in Tri-Eastern Conference action.
Michael Georgi led Winchester with 25 points. Aaron Wallace tossed in 13 points.
Boo Enis, Lukas Mills and Austin Lawrence all finished with 10 points.
With the scored tied 18-18 after one quarter, the Golden Falcons broke open the tight contest in the second period as they built a 49-31 halftime advantage.
For the Indians, Isaac Jefferis led the way with 17 points.
Both teams are back in action with TEC games. Winchester (3-1, 1-0) is at Union County next Friday, while Union City (0-5, 0-1) entertains Tri next Saturday.
