UNION CITY, Ohio – Courtney Wise became Union City’s all-time leading scorer for girls basketball on Tuesday as she led the Indians to a 56-28 victory over crosstown rival Mississinawa Valley.
Wise scored 20 points, which puts her at 1,071 points as she passed Kela Bousman-Neils, who had 1,062.
Kelsey Zimmers added 11 points. Kora Kerns had nine points, eight steals and eight rebounds.
Baylee Hartman also had eight rebounds for the Indians. Ellie Kerns finished with eight points.
The Indians (16-4) entertain Wapahani on Saturday in the first game of a boys-girls doubleheader.
